300 Indian Websites Hacked & Defaced by [IN]SecInjection

A hacker going with the handle of [IN]SecInjection has hacked and Defaced 300 Indian websites yesterday.

It seems the hacker is from Latin America, as the sites are left with a deface page along with a message in Portuguese language, according to which “Hackeado por [IN]SecInjection , Conectando.. Login:  [IN]SecInjection..Password: *****, Server:~ root# , R3MW Hertz aceeeeeeeer.”

The reason for hacking and attacking Indian cyber space remains unknown, yet it is a known fact that hackers from South America have been targeting Indian websites throughout the year.

Most of the hacked sites belong to private businesses, such as website development, photography studio, cement factories, movie studios, banks and chemical factories.

At the time of publishing this article, all 300 websites were hacked and displaying deface message left by the hackers.
