While scrolling Zone-h, I got hold of a hack where a group of Kurdish hacker going with the handle of ColdHackers has hacked and defaced 225+ Turkish websites.

All hacked sites were left with a deface page along with a message in Turkish language, explaining the reason for attacking Turkish sites, according to which:

  • System Hacklendi! Herbiji Kurd PKK Kurdistan Herbiji u! OR CHAIRMAN APO vede YASATMAMA with the law or avoid! Sero Biji APO, Biji Biji PKK HPG , We did not burn anyone, even if they we’re here even though we were the fire of Newroz.

Links of targeted websites along with their mirror can be found here.

Among the hacked sites, one of them belongs to Turkish public library () under the Turkish local government, while other sites belong to private businesses such as tourism, living in Turkey, food chains and real estate.

At the time of publishing this article, most of the sites were still hacked and displaying deface page left by the hackers.
