While scrolling Zone-h, I got hold of past and latest defacement done by Barbaros-DZ hackers against the government of China and thought to share it with the readers. Just to make it clear, we are talking about hacks conducted by the group till today and in last six months.

NOTE: The figures are based on report generated by Zone-h, any miscalculation is purely NOT our mistake.

Barbaros-DZ who is basically an Algerian hacker or a group (I am not sure about that yet) along with this team Bb0yH4cK3r_Dz, Dz Mafia, Ked Ans, Tiger-M@te, yasMouh, has hacked and defaced 3,684 all government owned Chinese websites till today and since they begin hacking. The hackers never left any message that can explain the reason for hacking Chinese websites, hence the reason remains unknown as there is no dispute between China and Algeria.

However, the message left of the hacked websites is given below:

To be continued…

The group has hacked and defaced high profile Chinese government sites, some of them includes the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee , department of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Central Committee that controls staffing positions within the CPC and thousands of other important sites.

If you are interested in looking through the complete list of hacked Chinese sites and their mirror, then feel free to click here.

It would be interesting to know what motivated the Barbaros-DZ hackers if next time they left a message, explaining the reason for attacking Chinese government. However, I will keep the reader posted on the upcoming attacks by Algerian Barbaros-DZ hackers.
