Anonymous Shuts Down Top Israeli Govt Sites Against Killing Of 14-Yr-Old Kid

The online hacktivist Anonymous is back with yet another cyber attack. This time the group has taken down 43 top Israeli government websites against shooting and killing of a 14-year-old U.S. citizen Orwah Hammad by Israeli Defence Forces.

Anonymous conducted the cyber attack under the banner of #OpOrwahHammad in which websites belonging to Israeli government such as the Israel Defense Forces, Office of the Prime Minister,  Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel Securities Authority, Ministry of Industry and Trade, State of Israel Mail, Israeli Immigration and several others were taken down through DDoS attack.

Anonymous also left a message with the list, according to which:

‪#‎OpOrwahHammad‬ has officially kicked-off now, and Israeli government websites are feeling it. Anonymous is targeting Israeli government websites in protest of the killing of young Orwah Hammad and many Palestinians alike. The world will not stand by such brutality. Israeli Government beware for you should have Expected Us.

A Tweet from official Anonymous News channel has confirmed the cyber attack on Israeli government.

About  Orwah Hammad:

Fourteen-year old Orwah Hammad was a Palestinian teen with U.S. citizenship killed by the Israeli army on October 24, 2014 at a demonstration in the West Bank town of Silwad, near Ramallah. He was shot with a live bullet that entered his neck and exited through his head.

This is not the first time when Anonymous hackers have target Israeli government. In past the group took down Israeli servers against the bombing of Gaza.
