Azerbaijani Hackers have hacked NATO-Armenia and embassy websites in 40 countries giving a powerful reply to the Armenian hackers.

The cyber war between Anti-Armenia Team from Azerbaijan and The Monte Melkonian Cyber Army (MMCA) from Armenia is getting more sophisticated with every passing day. Last month the MMCA leaked sensitive data from Azerbaijan Ministry servers and in reply, the Azerbaijani hackers have come up with a huge cyber attack in which top Armenian government websites have been hacked.

The attack was conducted 3 days ago in which the hackers were able to hack the official website of Permanent Mission of Armenia in NATO, Permanent Mission to the organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

Oh wait, that’s not it, the hackers have also hacked websites of Amerimnain embassies in 40 countries including the  Embassy of Armenia to Argentina, Austria, the Republic of Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Georgia, Batumi, Germany, Hellenic Republic, Vatican City State, India, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkmenistan, United Kingdom, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America.

The targeted sites were left with a deface page along with text and video messages displaying Azerbaijan’s military power. A full preview of the deface page is available below:

In an exclusive conversation with the hackers, HackRead was told that:

”One should notice that on 26 July of 2014 Anti-Armenia Team” hackers had destroyed official website of Armenian president and some ministeries of the country. Armenian experts confessed several times that anti-Armenia hackers create problem to Armenia on the national level and they don’t have enough intellectual resources to fight against them.”

There are no diplomatic relations between the two countries and they are still technically at war because of the ongoing Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and dispute.

Links of all targeted website along with their zone-h mirrors as a proof of hack are available here.
