Google Images, YouTube, Yahoo Malaysia Domains Hacked by Bangladeshi Hackers

Three Bangladeshi hackers (going with the handles of Ne0-h4ck3r, TiGER-M@TE and F0RTYS3V3N) hacked and defaced Google, Google Images, YouTube and Yahoo Malaysia domains on Wednesday.

Hackers left a deface page along with a message on all three hacked domains, but the reason for targeting these domains wasn’t mentioned anywhere.

This is the second time in a day when Bangladeshi hackers successfully defaced Google Malaysia domain. Previously it was Tiger M@te who hacked and interrupted Google Malaysia domain due to a DNS redirection.

Full preview of the deface page is available below:

At the moment it is unclear if Yahoo.my is under Yahoo Inc! or owned by a private party (considering that a company like Yahoo will try to purchase all domains having the word Yahoo in them).

While visiting Yahoo.my users are redirected to Malaysia.yahoo.com. However, who.is shows different domain ownership for both domains.

The same Bangladeshi hackers were also behind the defacement of Google Kenya domain in 2013.

At the time of publishing this article, all targeted domains were restored.
