You may be a UFC champ in real life but when it comes to online world, hackers have an upper hand.

A group of Brazilian hackers going with the online handle of ProtoWave has hacked and defaced the official website of Vitor Vieira Belfort.

Belfort is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion as well as UFC 12 Heavyweight Tournament Champion.

Hackers left a deface page along with a note in English and Japanese language on the hacked website, but the reason for targeting Belfort’s website wasn’t mentioned anywhere.

According to the deface note:

Hacked by ProtoWave! Japanese text: I am a beast looking at the sky in thousands of eyes.

Full preview of the deface page is available below:

Belfort owns a verified Facebook page and a verified Twitter account with 1.33 million followers:

ProtoWave is the same group who was behind the website hacking of famous Brazilian football player Ronaldinho in April.

At the time of publishing this article, the targeted website was still hacked. I guess I have to send Belfort a tweet to wake him up to fix his site.
