In an extremely high profile hack, An Indonesian hacker going with the handle of Dbuzz has hacked and defaced the official blog (http://blogs.usembassy.gov/of a website (http://www.usembassy.gov/) managed by the U.S. Department of State, dealing with U.S embassies, Consulates, and Diplomatic Missions all over the world.

The blog was hacked yesterday where hacker left  a deface page along with a short message, expressed in following words:

  • Hacked by Dbuzz! Secure Your Box. Cheers To : Black Angels ~ pH4TH0rM0n ~ Pak RT!

US Embassy.gov is a website that is managed and maintained by the U.S. Department of State, responsible for dealing with the issues related to U.S. Embassies, Consulates, and Diplomatic Missions in Africa, Western Hemisphere, East Asia-Pacific, Europe-Eurasia, Near East, South & Central Asia.

It works as a main websites for providing information regarding U.S embassies and diplomatic missions. While the U.S embassies around the world use same website with the name of country where the embassy is situation. For example Embassy of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Belgium uses Belgium as a sub-domain of the main website http://belgium.usembassy.gov or U.S. embassy in India uses same domain such as http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/.
