African Petroleum Producers’ Association Website Hacked by Fallaga Team Tunisia

A Tunisian hacker going with the handle of TN_X2X from Fallaga Team Tunisia has hacked and defaced the official website of African Petroleum Producers’ Association based in Lagos, Nigeria.

The hack is a high profile where hacker left his deface page along with a message on the website, leaving an Islamic prayer. The deface message was expressed in following words:

  • La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad ur Rasul Allah !Hacked by TN_X2X, PS0@hotmail.com, Fallaga Team Tunisia Hackers. TN_X2X and we will be back.

The African Petroleum Producers’ Association (APPA) is an intergovernmental organisation created in 1987 in Lagos, Nigeria, comprises eighteen Member Countries namely, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Libya, Mauritanie, Niger, Nigeria and Sudan.

It is unclear if hacker has got access to any sensitive data of the association or if any confidential detail was leaked.

Fallaga Team Tunisia is known for its anti-israeli views and has targeted its sites since the beginning. 

At the time of publishing this article, the website was restored and working online.
