A hacker going with the handle of /Nullroot has hacked and defaced the official website of Franklin County, Ohio State on 17th Nov, 2013.
Hacker left a deface page along with a message on the hacked Franklin County site. Hacker’s nationality and reason for hacking county site was not mentioned anywhere. However, the deface message was expressed in following words:
- Greetings to everyone at /Nullroot. We are coming back #2013!

Franklin County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. The targeted site is directly under the government of Ohio and provides information about Franklin County.
Hackers have been targeting United States government owned website almosts everyday. As just few weeks ago official U.S. Department of State’s domain was hacked by an Indonesian hacker, following with the Florida State University breach where personal information of over 47000 students and teachers was leaked.
Yesterday the official website of Hillside Illinois Police Department and 8 NASA domains were successfully hacked.
At the time of publishing this article, the website was hacked and displaying deface page left by the hacker.
