Gen. Colin Powell’s Facebook Page Hacked by Guccifer, spammed with anti-Bush Status
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The official Facebook page of former Secretary of State and a retired four-star general in the United States Army was hacked few hours ago, resulting in massive spam against Ex President Bush.

The Facebook page with 81,940 fans was was hacked Monday morning, spammed with messages like “YOU WILL BURN IN HELL,BUSH” and “KILL THE ILLUMINATI!” As Powell battled the messages, the hacker threatened to “PUT A CURSE ON THE FINGER WHICH YOU USE TO DELETE THESE POSTS!!!”

In the below given screenshot, you can see the hacker posting picture of Bush’s family with Guccifer written on it. Guccifer is the same hacker who had hacked George Bush Sr’s emails and leaked his private pictures online.

Here are few screenshots I have captured and combined for you guys:

Colin Powell's Facebook-hacked

Colin Powell accepted that his Facebook page is hacked, apologizing fans for abusive message and inconvenience. He is working on securing the page.

Dear Friends, as most of you realize, my fb page has obviously been hacked. I’m sorry you have to see all the stupid, obscene posts that are popping up. Please ignore as we are working with fb to take care of this problem. I appreciate your patience.

Hack like this proves that terms such as ‘A Secure Cyber World’ is an oxymoron and does not fit the space.

At the time of publishing this article, the management team of Powell’s Facebook page were working on securing and regaining the account.
