The official Twitter account of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was found following an Iranian porn Twitter account before unsubscribing Sunday morning, about seven hours after The Times of Israel broke the story.
On sunday morning, the verified Twitter account of Israeli prime minister @Netanyahu started following around 90 Twitter accounts, mostly belonging to Israeli government and its embassies around the world.
But things were not as simple as it may have looked because the most recent account that the prime minister’s account was following was @PersianHotBook, a Twitter account that claims and describes itself as “the first library of hot sex books Persian language.”
At that time the @PersianHotBook account had only 15 followers including one of the Israeli prime minister but the same day, PM’s account stopped following 15 newly followed accounts including the Iranian sex feed @PersianHotBook.
The Israeli prime minister did not commented over the issue but one of the PM’s representatives Mark Regev said that:

“I’m glad to say the Prime Minister’s Office has no connection to this.”
Israel Radio reporter Chico Menashe tweeted from his account that the incident of following @PersianHotBook has nothing to do with the Israeli PM but a result of a “malfunction” which is under investigation by the authorities.
