Israeli man arrested for hacking Madonna’ PC, selling songs online

An Israeli man, suspected to have hacked into the computers of pop stars including Madonna and selling their unreleased songs online, has been arrested.

It was suspected by the Israeli police that the man has stolen works of several unnamed international stars.

It was confirmed by a private investigator related to the case that Madonna was one among them.

The pop star was found to be profoundly grateful to the people who have helped arrest the attacker and told that it was a very depressing and shocking experience.

In a Facebook post by Madonna, it was told that she highly appreciates those fans who have been providing updated information related to any music leaks and also said that she deserves the right to privacy similar to any other citizen.

After the unfinished mixes of the new album Rebel Heart and demos went on to become available online, Madonna rushed to release a great deal of songs last month.

It was told by the manager of Madonna, Guy Oseary, that the “devastating” act had caused the surprise release of six songs from Rebel Heart in December way earlier than planned.

‘Violation’

Madonna’s team had made to contact with Asher Wizman – the owner of a private investigation firm in Israel – a number of times so as to inform him about the Israeli relation to the leak weeks before the act had been committed, Asher Wizman reported to the Reuters news agency.

He also reported to the Reuters that his firm’s investigators discovered that Madonna’s computers both at home and at a studio were invaded from a computer in Israel.

It was only after this that the computer was tracked down and man who committed the act was found. When enough evidence was gathered, the man was arrested.

Although local reports stated that the criminal was a former contestant on an Israeli’s TV talent show, the name of this 39-year-old man was not told by the police.

A police spokesman told that the 39-year-old is under suspicion of hacking computers, violating copyrights and receiving goods fraudulently.

The investigation showed that the suspect had been involved in breaking into the computers of a number of international artists, stealing unreleased demos and final tracks and selling them online.

However, as of yet, no charges have been filed.

It is known that at the next month’s Grammy Awards, Madonna will be performing songs of her new album and may also appear at the Brits.

Ryan Tedder who is song writer and producer has worked with Madonna on Rebel Heart along with the dance producer Diplo. Ryan Tedder has reported that he has written three “amazing smashes” with this pop star.

The attacker had not only caused Madonna’s album to be released months before schedule, but even Bjork was compelled to release her new album Vulnicura two months before schedule when it was it got leaked during the weekend. The arrest, however, took after this incident.
