The well known cell phone company Nokia announced its new Nokia C5-03 in 2010 October and it was released in January 2011. This C5-03 supports both the 2G and 3G networks like all other recent cell phones do. The two features that really make this phone attractive are, it weighs only 93 grams and is having TFT capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. Its size is 360*640 pixels and 3.2 inches. It also has an accelerometer for auto rotate and a hand writing recognition option.

Nokia C5-03 also has a loudspeaker and a 3mm jack. The phonebook has unlimited storage capacity while call records is for 30 days maximum. It also has GPRS and EDGE both of class 32 along with mentioned 3G network (HSDPA, 102 Mbps, HSUPA, 2 Mbps). This phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UpnP technology wireless LAN. Like all new cell phones, this phone has bluetooth and lacks infrared. Nokia C5-03 has a 5 mega pixels camera with the feature of geo tagging. This camera also supports video VGA at 15fps. It has a mini usb version 2.0. The internal memory of this phone is 40 Mb with 128Mb of RAM. The phone also has a card slot that can support up to 32GB micro SD memory card and a 2Gb memory card is included in the pin pack box. The operating system of the phone is still Symbian OS version 9.4, Series 60 and the central processing unit is 600Mhz with ARM 11 processor.

The extra f3eatures of the all new Nokia C5-03 are, – MP4,  WMV, WMA, WAV, MP3 player,  Photo editor, Organizer, Voice dial, Flash Lite 3.0 and Predictive text input. It also has GPS with A-GPS support with Nokia maps. Its talk time is Up to 11 hours 30 minutes in 2G and Up to 4 hours 30 minutes in 3G.
