PoodleCorp is back with a bang, this time, Blizzard servers are facing the wrath of this ruthless DDoSing group.

The PoodleCorp hacking and DDoSing group have conducted a series of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) on the servers of gaming giant Blizzard forcing them to stay offline and left users wondering what’s really doing on.

Blizzard, on the other hand, has also acknowledged that their servers are under DDoS attack affecting latency/connections to their games.

We are currently monitoring a DDOS attack against network providers which is affecting latency/connections to our games.

It was not so long ago, in fact just 14 hours ago when PoodleCorp claimed responsibility for DDoSing Blizzard Entertainment servers.

#PoodleCorp is feeling nice today, 2k RTs and we will stop harassing @Blizzard_Ent

It is unclear why PoodleCorp targets Blizzard gaming giant frequently, as in August, Blizzard entertainment also suffered several DDoS attacks from the group, however, one thing is clear that users are not happy with these series of cyber attacks disrupting the service and not allowing them to use the service.

Who is PoodleCorp?

Remember, PoodleCorp is the same group who DDoSed Electronic Arts, EA Servers last month. They also hacked a number of top YouTube channels including WatchMojo, Redmercy, LeafyisHere, and LillySingh. The same group conducted a series of DDoS attacks on several other gaming giants including Blizzard and League of Legends, Pokemon Go, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and PlayStation servers.

At the time of publishing this article, Blizzard was still monitoring an ongoing DDoS attack against network providers while PoodleCorp tweeted that they will keep on targeting the gaming giant.

We continue to actively monitor an ongoing DDOS attack against network providers, affecting latency/connections to our games. #BlizzCS
