Six Automotive Giants: FORD, KIA, Subaru, Suzuki, Kawasaki, SsangYong Hacked and Defaced by Q8 Spy

Moving ahead after hacking electronic giants, its time for Automotive giants to feel the heat as the websites of SsangYong Motors,  Kawasaki Heavy Industries , Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) ,  KIA Motors, Subaru, Suzuki Motors and  Toyota Motor Corporation have been hacked and defaced by Q8 Spy.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) is an American multinational automaker based in Dearborn and the world’s oldest motor company. Subaru is internationally known for their use of the boxer engine layout similar to those in cars like the Volkswagen Beetle and Porsche 911. SsangYong Motor Company is the fourth largest South Korean automobile manufacturer, The name SsangYong means double dragons. Toyota is a multinational automaker headquartered in Toyota Japan, KIA is headquartered in Seoul, is South Korea’s second-largest automobile manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation is a Japanese multinational corporation headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan and Kawasaki is an international corporation based in Japan.

Ford website that has been hacked belongs to Slovakia and hacker specially left a deface image for FORD, where a kid is ”pissing” on Ford’s official logo.

Its a noteworthy fact how the hackers successfully hacks and deface websites of top giants, it shows that these companies are all about profit making and do not care if their websites or servers are hacked and details are leaked.  Its about time  when same companies can face troubling situation worth millions by hackers.
