The Pro – Assad hackers from Syrian Electronic Army have hacked the official blog and verified Twitter account of Microsoft.

A bad start of a new year for Microsoft when yesterday its official verified Twitter account got hacked and today company’s blog came under attack by high profile hackers from Syrian Electronic Army.

The hackers managed to get control of blog’s content management system, ended up writing an article with a title ”Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army” in Microsoft’s TechNet blog.

As reported above, the SEA hacked Microsoft News Twitter handle and started Tweeting about the ”bad side” of using company’s email service such as Hotmail/outlook.

This is not the first time when SEA has attacked Microsoft, just few days ago; the same hackers hacked the official blog, Facebook and twitter handle of Skype.

At the time of publishing this article, Microsoft’s blog and twitter accounts were restored.
