Some of the US officials of the Navy have stated that some hackers from Iran have penetrated into the unclassified computer networks of the US navy.

On December 06, 2012, I reported that US Navy facing 110,000 cyber attacks every hour. Now The Wall Street Journal has published a report on 27th September in which they have said that the hacks against the US navy computers have been carried out by some Iranian hackers. The report has not disclosed the names of the US officials that have come up with such a claim against the Islamic Republic of Iran.050111-N-9563N-001

The report further stated that though the officials of US military have been given a briefing about the recent intrusion, the Pentagon is denying any such hack. The allegation has emerged on the scene in the cyber world at a time when Iran itself has been a prominent target of attacks from hackers.

The Washington Post back in 2012 published a report in which they stated that Israel and USA have assisted each other in devising a computer flame virus for spying on Iran. The report further added that the cooperation for devising the virus has been carried out between CIA and the military of Israel.

The New York Times also published a report in June 2013 where they mentioned that President Barack Obama gave out orders to launch a Cyber-attack against the nuclear program of Iran by devising the Stuxnet virus. The paper also added that this virus has been created by USA through cooperation with an intelligence unit of Israel.

The malware was however detected by the experts of Iran before it could cause some serious damage to the industrial site resources of the country.

As a result of the attacks, Iran’s government launched defense headquarters which is assigned the goal to counter and nullify any cyber-attacks or worms that are devised for damaging or stealing information of their nuclear facilities, security networks, banks, data centers and power plants.
