United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Brazil Website Hacked by Over-X

Well known Over-X hacker from Algeria has hacked and defaced two official websites of United Nations, one of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Brazil www.unep.org.br and other of Programa das Nações Unidas para o Meio Ambiente (PNUMA) www.pnuma.org.br, that deals with UNEP’s office in Brazil.

Hacker left his deface page, displaying Algerian flag and a simple note of Algerian Forever.

UNEP, leading authority on global environment, is the agency of the United Nations (UN) responsible for promoting environmental conservation and efficient use of resources in the context of sustainable development.

At the time of publishing this article, both sites were hacked and displaying deface pages left by Oxer-X hacker.
