LulzSec Peru hacks Twitter account of Venezuela’s Ruling Party against Twitter Cencorship

World renowned hacktivists from LulzSec Peru have hacked a verified Twitter account of United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).


After taking over the Twitter account, the hacktivists changed the official description of @PartidoPSUV and its profile picture.

The new discretion currently reads:

  • “Don’t mess with the best. Hacked by LulzSec Peru.”

Softpedia reports that LulzSec Peru also posted several tweets against the government of Venezuela, apprently for blocking Twitter users from seeing certain images.

It was reported that people in Venezuela are protesting against the government for last three days, as a result 3 protests have been killed. To hide the deaths of protesters, government allegedly banned certain images and videos on Twitter.

At the time of publishing this article, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) was still in control of LulzSec Peru.
