Zoom is down in the United States, the United Kingdom, and some parts of Germany.
The popular video conferencing app Zoom is currently suffering a service outage where users are unable to join or attend Zoom meetings.
According to DownDetecter, a platform that reports on online platforms going through service disrupting, the scale of this outage can be seen affecting users all over the United States, some parts of the United Kingdom, and Germany.
It is worth noting that due to the COVID-19 pandemic there has been a sudden increase in video conferencing apps including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. For Zoom; it was nearly impossible to handle the situation and caused several outages, breaches, and Zoom bombing incidents.
However, for now, the exact reason for the Zoom outage is unknown. Nevertheless, the company has acknowledged the issue on its server status page marking Zoom Meetings and Video Webinars under the label of services that are facing “Partial Outage.”
