Arfa Karim, world’s youngest Microsoft Professional (MCP) passed away on Saturday, due to a brain damage caused by idiopathic epilepsy in Lahore’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Afra Karim was born on 14th January 1995 in Pakistan; she was only 09 years old when she passed MCP test in 2004
to became world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professionals [MCPs]. Arfa meet Bill Gates at Microsoft Headquarters in the USA, she made a poem on Bill Gates as to her Gates was an ideal.

Arfa was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Lahore last month when she felt ill and according to doctors, she was suffering from brain damage that left her in a coma. Bill Gates personally contacted Arfa’s family few days ago to discuss Arfa’s condition and arranging a flight for her to the US for further treatment by his personal surgeons.

Unfortunately, the genius kid who was 16 years old passed away yesterday on the eve of her birthday On January 14, 2012.
