Samsung C3312 Duos [Review]

Samsung announced another sleek and stylish named as Samsung C3312 Duos. Also known as Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos supports GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and is a “Dual SIM phone”. This Duos was announced in January 2012 and was released in the same month.

The display of this Samsung C3312 Duos is TFT capacitive touch-screen with 256K colors and has Samsung Touch-Wiz user interface. Size of its LCD is 2.8 inches, 240 x 320 (143 pixels per inch pixels density). It weighs only 100 grams and its dimension is 102 x 55 x 12 mm.

Unlike all other new phones, Samsung C3312 Duos phone does not have WAV ring tones but has vibration and MP3 ring tones along with a loudspeaker and standard 3.5 mm audio female jack for headphones male pin. The internal memory of the Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos is 100 MB and can save up to 1000 phone-book entries. It supports micro SD cards which are up to 32 GB and also saves call log.

The must be included feature “GPRS” is there with EDGE technology and lacks today’s biggest requirement Wi-Fi Wireless LAN. Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos has version 3.0 Bluetooth and has a micro USB version 2.0.

The primary camera of this Duos phone is 1.3 MP (1280 x 1024 pixels) only but can record videos. There is no secondary camera included.

The other common features of Samsung Duos Dual SIM phone are its threaded view SMS, MMS, IM and Email, accelerometer, WAP 2.0/ x HTML, HTML browser, an FM radio, downloadable and pre-installed games, Social Networking Service integration, media player with MP3, MP4, WMV, eAAC, WMA, H 2.64 support, predictive text, voice memo, organizer and document viewer.

Samsung C3312 Duos is available in White and Platinum Silver colors with standard Li-ion 1000 mAh battery. Its talk time is up to 14 hours and stand-by time is up to 600 hours. Champ Deluxe Duos is a great phone to buy as it has many excellent features but has a very low price. A rough idea about its price is $ 80.
