A group of hacker going with the handle of Kosova Warriors Group has hacked and defaced the official website of United Kingdom (UK) National Commission for The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) http://www.unesco.org.uk.

Hackers left a deface page along with a message on the hacked site bashing Serbs for killing over thousands of people. The deface message was explained in following words:

  • Hello Serbs, now wonder why you see it on this particular page??  Kosovo is not Serbia ..  We will always remember what you did to our people, you drove close to 1 million displaced people you killed more than 14,000 people are raped more than 20000 women. We want justice and we want our missing people back.

This is not the first time when website of UK National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) has been hacked, last month a Turkish based hacker KriptekS had hacked and defaced the site.

I was unable to find mirror Link of hack conducted by Kosova Warriors Group, however the mirror link of KriptekS’s hack is available below:

The UK National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) is the focal point in the UK for UNESCO-related policies and activities.

At the time of publishing this article, the website of UK National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) was restored and working online.
