The CIA and the US senate committee are at loggerheads, according to media reports on Tuesday.

Reuters reported that all does not seem to be well between the CIA and one of the greatest ally of the US intelligence, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the US Senate Committee chairwoman. She has accused the CIA of mishandling the committee’s investigation into the agency’s detention and interrogation programs, which anyways have been condemned by the human right activists as ‘torture.’

What comes as a surprise is the senator is a great supporter of NSA and its surveillance programs, which were otherwise challenged as unjustified and non-constitutional. Ironically, she is not enjoying it when her own department faces the music.
