In an uncertain development by the ministry of information technology Pakistan, the social networking website twitter has been banned in the country for rebellious and blasphemous content . According to the Ministry, ” there is no other reason for banning the website other then its explicit and insulting content against the religion, the kind of content that was used on the website had to be banned sooner or later”.

From now on twitter will not be accessible in Pakistan. Last night the rumors for banning Twitter and facebook hit the news but Interoir Minister of Pakistan, Rahman Malik denied such rumors, assuring that both websites will not be banned in the country as ”we” don’t  want to push the country into the stone age.
