The official websites of NASA (http://www.nasa.gov) and National Park ()have been shutdown until further notice by the United Stated Government. It is not some kind of cyber attack but a step taken as a result of Government Shutdown.
NASA website has been redirected to http://notice.usa.gov, showing a message of shutdown until further notice. The message on both websites shows that:
- Due to the lapse in federal government funding, this website is not available.
- We sincerely regret this inconvenience.
- For information about available government services, visit USA.gov.
- Este sitio web no se está disponible durante el cierre del Gobierno.
- Lamentamos profundamente las molestias que esto pueda causar.
Earlier today, the website of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) was also taken down ffollowing Government Shutdown.
