OurMine hacking group has found two new targets, this time, it’s the Vimeo Founder Zach Klein and famous YouTuber Alexa Losey from LA!

The official Twitter and Quora account of Zach Klein, co-founder of video-sharing website Vimeo were hacked earlier today allowing the OurMine hackers to post a couple of tweets using his Quora account that was linked to his Twitter.

OurMine is the same group who have been hacking social media accounts of high-profile tech celebrities by using old passwords from LinkedIn and MySpace data dumps.

Here is a screenshot shared by the group on its blog showing a Quora post being tweeted from Klein’s twitter handle

Alexa Losey Twitter account hack:

Alexa Losey, a popular YouTuber had her verified Twitter account hacked by OurMine hackers yesterday in which the group changed her bio with their own message asking Losey to contact them to get the account back however her YouTube and Facebook accounts were not hacked.

”Hey, it’s OurMine, don’t worry we are just testing your security, contact us to give your account back ,Thanks!”

For your information, OurMine is a Saudi Arabia-based group of hackers looking to compromise social media accounts of high profile celebs and famous personalities. Until now, they have claimed accounts of Pokémon Go’s creator John Hanke, Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai, Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, etc.

At the time of publishing this article; Zach Klein’s Twitter was restored while Alexa Losey’s account was still hacked and displaying message left by OurMine in the bio section.

Using the same password for all of your accounts is like having one key that unlocks every door in your life. It would be extremely unwise for a person to just rely on one key to unlock the doors to their home, their car, their office and their safety deposit box, because if that key were to get lost, it would simultaneously create multiple high-risk situations that need to be addressed quickly.

Use different and strong passwords for each and every site you login on a daily basis.
